It seems it is easier to find old Macintoshes than I expected and it is also much easier to run out of storage space for all these beige boxes. I posted couple "WTB: old Macintoshes" and after couple months I have something like ten macs. Most of them required some maintenance and unfortunately one IIcx motherboard and couple floppy disk drive were beyond my repair skills.
After some thinking I decided to keep only three vintage computers and sell the rest. The keepers will be SE/30, IIci with some NuBus display adapters and a beige G3 desktop. They all have ethernet connectivity so the file sharing is reasonably easy.
The beige G3 is the latest addition to my collection. It came as a part of a bundle of iMac G3, beige G3, Pismo G3 laptop, external drives and a bottle of white wine. I wasn't exactly looking for any of those but it turned out the beige G3 was a pretty nice find. It was all the legacy connections like ADB but it has also FW400 and USB PCI cards with good amount of memory and a working drives. I will keep it as a bridge machine to copy files etc and play some old Macintosh games.
